Decision Centre
Governance is ultimately a series of decisions. This section is where they are made, assigned and — crucially — recorded.
What you see
| Element | What it means |
|---|---|
| Open decisions | Choices waiting on someone, with the owner named. Home's tile says "Clear" when this is empty. |
| Decision record | Each closed decision keeps its basis: what was decided, by whom, when, on what evidence. |
| Queue links | Decisions arrive from the governance work queue and from products (e.g. discovery acceptances). |
What you do here
- Keep the open list short — a stale decision blocks someone downstream.
- Write the basis honestly at decision time — the record is what an auditor reads in two years.
- Use assignment — an unowned decision is a decision nobody makes.
Why it matters
The decision record is the platform's spine: products propose, humans decide, the record proves it. That sentence is most of AI governance.
