Evidence

The audit trail as a working surface: every piece of evidence your governance produces, browsable, expiring, and exportable. (The Evidence Vault product guide covers the cryptographic layer; this lesson covers the section.)

Every tile, explained

Tile What it means
Evidence items Total records in your library.
Evidence readiness How complete your evidence is against what your controls expect.
Requests / gaps Evidence someone has asked for that doesn't exist yet — your collection to-do list.
With expiry tracked Evidence ages; this counts records whose freshness is being watched.
Reviews due Evidence whose review cycle has come around.
Report / export Dossier generation — "Pending" until your first export.

What you do here

  1. Watch requests & gaps — that list is what an auditor will find missing.
  2. Keep reviews due at zero — stale evidence is barely evidence.
  3. Generate a report before any audit conversation; walking in with the dossier changes the meeting.
